The Asquith Eco-Summit

The Asquith Eco-Summit

A couple of weeks ago we welcomed our favourite bloggers, yoga teachers and Asquith lovers to join us in London for the very first Asquith Eco Summit.

Alice and Claire from @clubforty.claire wearing never before seen Asquith AW19.

Asquith has been around for over 17 years and our Founder and Creative Director Alice Asquith is very proud of the fact that we have been using the eco-friendly fabrics, bamboo and organic cotton since we launched in 2002. We partnered up with our friends to share all that we have learnt on our eco-journey and how we can all help to protect the planet step by step.

The day started with an energetic yoga flow by Yoga teacher and founder of Fierce grace Yoga Michelle Pernetta.

Wearing our supportive yoga pants and super soft yoga top she took our guests through an energetic yoga flow which was followed by a beautiful sound healing session from Denise Leicester, the Founder of ila Apothecary which left the room in a beautiful calming, relaxed energy just in time for refreshments from our friends at Bexfast and Livia's.

We then welcomed our panel guest to chat all things eco-friendly. Our panel was made up of the founder of Unbeelievable Health, Sarah Orecchia, Francesca Willow from the hugely successful eco-blog Ethical Unicorn, Asquith Founder and Creative Director, Alice Asquith, and Sustainability Advisor, Allanna McAspurn. Hosted by Georgina Wilson-Powell from Pebble Magazine. They discussed the future of the fashion industry, provided top tips for living a more conscious life and invaluable information on how we can all make a difference to the planet.

After the inspirational and thought-provoking conversation, we then headed for lunch provided by Peardrop London and Flow Water where there was time for trying on never seen before pieces from our soon to be launched AW19 collection and mini massages and reflexology from Holistic Hub.

The day was a huge success and we each came away with a top tip that we can use in our daily lives to help protect the planet. We hope to welcome you to our next Eco-Summit and do reach out in the comments below if you would like us to share any more info.
