This week join us in Camden at the About Time Magazine, About Tomorrow Event where our founder Alice Asquith will be talking about the journey of building Asquith and our organic yoga clothes alongside some other inspirational names in the business of wellness. She will be sharing the stage with Hollie Grant founder of @thepilatespt, Louisa Drake, founder of the Louisa Drake Method, Pilates Teacher Lottie Murphy and the inspirational founders of Boom Cycle, BXR London, and Pollen and Grace.

Places to Go

Looking for some piece and quiet in London can sometimes be very hard, especially when you don’t know where to go. One of our favourite and somewhat hidden spots is the Chelsea Physic Gardens. Opened in 1673 and tucked away behind the Thames the Chelsea Physic Garden is one of London’s oldest gardens and the first established apothecary for the use in medicine. It’s full to the brim with exotic species and quiet corners where you can sit and meditate or even practice some yoga in the great outdoors. It’s a must see place to go at the weekend or on a lunch break when you need some fresh air.

Things to Make

This week we have taken inspiration from one of our favourite new food and wellness gurus the lovely Lee From America with her Instagram famous energy boosting, antioxidant full, Bullet Proof Matcha Lattes. Bursting with adaptogenic herbs and healthy fats try swapping your regular coffee for a green latte and we guarantee you will feel a difference. We have updated her brand recommendations for ones that are easier to find in the UK but are just as good.

  1. Measure out 1 tbsp of Matcha powder, sift it through a strainer and throw it into your blender to remove clumps.
  2. Next, add your near-boiling water.
  3. Then, add your collagen, coconut butter and MCT oil, Cordyceps and Ashwaganda powders.
  4. Secure the top of your blender well, and blend on low-medium for about 3 minutes.
  5. Pour into a mug and enjoy your matcha lattes immediately!

Super simple but a delicious way to kick start your day!
