We are excited to introduce YOUR winners in the Asquith Adores Awards.
This year we have seen a huge amount of votes for each and every brand but after weeks of voting here are your well deserved winners.
ODDBOX was founded by Emilie & Deepak (a couple from India/France) 3 years ago - when they learnt about the sheer amount of fruit and veg that go to waste every year in the UK.
They went on a mission to structurally reduce food surplus and its negative impact on our environment and started packing and delivering boxes themselves on weekends (as they both had day jobs) to people in their area. Today - less than 3 years later -we deliver more than 20,000 boxes a month to mindful people across London.
Winner: The Beeswax Wrap Company
Carly and Fran began making beeswax wraps in early 2017, when they were both trying to cutdown on single use plastics. The one item they found really hard to find a viable alternative was cling film. So they made their own.
Handmade in the Cotswolds, the wraps are perfect for covering food and providing an eco-freiendly storage solution for packed lunches.
Their wraps are now stocked in over 500 independents in the UK and in Oxfam. In November 2018 they also launched their vegan version The Vegan Food Wrap Company.
Georganics make effective oral care products that not only support healthy teeth but also support a healthy environment, by ensuring all of the ingredients used are pure and of the highest quality.
With sustainable packaging, and innovative eco-friendly products such as their Natural Charcoal Floss, it's no wonder they were a voters favourite.
Winner: Green People
Green People have been making effective natural skincare since 1997 when the founder was looking for a solution for her daughter's eczema prone skin.
All of the Green People products are made with organically certified and Fair Trade ingredients to protect the planet and the people that make their award winning skincare.
Green People are also committed to the planet by looking at their packing choices, using sugar cane packaging where possible and introducing new, innovative products and skincare solutions.
Winner: Who Gives A Crap
Who Gives a Crap was launched when the founders learnt that 2.3 billion people across the world don't have access to a toilet!
By providing eco-friendly, bamboo and recycled toilet paper to homes across the globe, not only are they helping the planet but 50% of their profits go to building toilets in places that simply don't have them.
