I just finished The Poisonwood Bible which has become one of my favourite books, about a missionary family who moved to the Congo in the 60’s amidst political turmoil. It is alternately narrated from the viewpoint of 5 women (a mother and four daughters). It was recommended to me by lots of my friends from my book club, many of who listed it in their top books of all time.
